The Universities of the Future project short-courses programme is moving forward and the last course for professionals is ready to start in Porto, Portugal.
P.PORTO is now announcing its fourth and last short-course duration for professionals under the topics related to Industry 4.0 (I4.0). This course will focus on Vanguard Leadership Program for I4.0 and aims to provide to the participants concepts and theoretical models related to human behaviour stemming from cognitive neurosciences, promote continuous improvement attitudes, and develop soft skills that enhance the ability to lead the transformation to I4.0. At the end of the course, the participants will:
- Be able to recognize the added value of self-knowledge;
- Understand the basics of Human brain function;
- Be familiar with variables for predicting human behaviors;
- Improve leadership and teamwork skills.
This course starts on the 28th February 2020, and will have six sessions taking place every Friday from 14:30h to 18:30h and Saturdays from 9h to 13h at Porto Design Factory (PDF). The sessions will be dynamized by the trainers Manuel Salvador and Carlos Sá, and cover the following subjects:
Session 1 – Introduction: Neurosciences, leadership, and performance
The industry 4.0 – Trends, concepts, and impacts | Cognitive neurosciences: Coaching with the brain in mind essential R concepts environment
Session 2 – Healthy leadership: Self-conscious and purpose
Self-knowledge and the silver mind platter: balance the leadership energy | Purpose, ethics and social innovation
Session 3 – Efficiency and productivity
LEAN | Agile methodologies
Session 4 – Smart-teams, productivity, and positivity
Team roles self-knowledge, feedback, and high performance | Sinergy, synchronicity and tune: agile operations in I4.0
Session 5 – Wise organizations and digital transformation
C-suits conscious and organizational change | Learning organization and leader coach behavior
Session 6 – Feedback and Personal Development Plan (PDP) and a Team Development Plan (TDP)
Feedback skills (training exercises) | Individual and team’s presentations | Course evaluation
This short-course is open to the community, and its purpose is to develop soft skills in its participants in order to better influence the organizational transformation that industry 4.0 implies.
